Houjicha powder is made from Bancha green tea, that has been roasted and then machine ground to fine powder. The flavour profile has the tipical for houjicha tea nutty and sweet woody notes, that will blend perfectly with many deserts. Used in Japan to make delicious Ice-cream, mochi, bread and cakes.
This houjicha powder has been sourced from our farmer friends from Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
