Unusual and quite rare, this organic Japanese tea is a blend of Zairai and Surugawase cultivar. Kamairicha 釜炒り茶 is the only Japanese tea that doesn't undergo the traditional steaming process. Instead, it is pan-fired - a process also called kill-green, originating from China. The result is this uniquely smooth tea with mildly roasted flavour, well-balanced sweetness and fresh green notes.
